The Kombicolor gun is a favourite with AI techicians, as the fixed colour means you can load up bulls by colour without worrying about lock rings.  These guns take UNSPLIT Sheaths. 

The other benefit of the Kombicolor guns is they can be used with both 0.25ml and 0.5ml straws.  Most Australian herd improvers have semen in 0.25ml straws, while some of the imported semen still comes in 0.5ml straws.
