Barnes are a simple dehorner that scoops out the whole horn bud in one quick action.  These tools can be used when the horn bud is identifiable, this small 32cm size for calves up to around 6 months depending on breed. 

The jaws on this small model open to approx. 1 1/4" x 2 1/2" or 31mm x 63mm

Fitted with soft rubber handles, these debudders are quick and easy to use, and when used correctly there will be no further horn growth.
