This is a special wire made with a rough saw surface for sawing through bones or horns. Cut off a length and fit handles (handles suit embryotomy wire, pair) each end. Then put around the object to be cut with a handle on each side and saw it through. Replace the length of wire when it wears (you can tell it has worn as sawing resistance reduces the progress through the horn or bone slows down).
