Calving ropes

These are high quality ropes available at an excellent price and offer great value for money.

These calving ropes are manufactured from soft 12mm diameter rope.  They are both relatively narrow for ease of entry but large enough to be strong and get a good grip on.

These ropes are approx. 930mm long with a loop in one end. The splicing of the loop is very neat and narrow.  They come with two knots which can taken out if not needed (the knots are loose on delivery). 

The knots are for use with calf pullers (the knots hook on to the calf puller ratchet) and sometimes as grip for hand use.  For hand use most people do not use knots so that if they have to slide the rope into the animal (to get around a leg that is turned back for instance) they are easier to get in - and you can loop the end of the rope round your hand if you need to. 

These are sold as a pair.  'Each' is one pair of ropes.
