Vink cow lifter/hip clamp

Cow lifting clamps have been used for many years. Their main use it help a cow onto its feet when it is down, and support it for a short period of time while it finds its feet. The most common use is after ‘calving paralysis’ when a cow struggles to get up. Once up and stabilised a cow will often recover. 

Top quality, with large covered hip clamps. Fully galvanised construction for long lift. Double direction thread for fast action - and the removable handle can be used either side, or taken off to prevent damage. Note hip clamps are for temporary use only to get cows on their feet and cows should not be left in them for long periods of time. Cows lifted by hip clamps should be kept under close supervision. For longer lift assistance use the Elfin cow sling.

Before ordering parts please make sure the hip clamp you have is a genuine Vink as these parts do not fit other makes.  The Vink has a double direction thread spindle with square drive lugs on each end.  The handle has a square female socket to locate on either end of the spindle and does not screw or clamp on.
