These Swiss made, heavy duty clippers are ideal for cattle and horse clipping.  Heiniger are the world's most trusted supplier of sheep shearing equipment - over 60 million sheep are shorn with Heiniger handpieces each year in Australia alone.  These clippers come standard with a 31F blade which cuts at around 1.5mm - 2mm.  The cut width is 75mm/3". 

This is the lightest full size clipper at 1200 grams.  The motor runs at 2000 rpm giving 66 top blade strokes per second.  These clippers are quieter than mains clippers, and very safe as there is no cord to trip over and no 240v power involved.  The clipper comes complete with battery charging station.  These clippers will clip for around an hour, and the battery takes around an hour to charge.  If you buy a spare battery and have it charging as you use the unit you can get close to full time operation.  The battery is a 2.0Ah NiCad battery and the clipper has deep discharge protection.  We suggest running the battery down before recharging as the NiCad battery lasts longer if maintained properly. 

The fine tolerances of the Heiniger mean they operate more smoothly, quietly and run cooler than other brands.
