Great results from the Genetics Australia Elite Genetic Merit sale

There were some outstanding results from the Genetics Australia Elite Genetic Merit sale held last week as part of International Dairy Week.

The sale averaged $5,700.00 - over $250,000.00 of stock were sold on the night.  There were sale lots from all dairy States and the animals went to NSW, Vic and Tasmania.

Top price was
Rengaw Cardinal Janea 2nd @$16400 to Adlejama Holsteins. Cardinal Janea 2nd has three half brothers in Horizon Team 2012 by Man o Man and the Shottle Dam scored VG87 is Aust no 2 ASI cow.

Beaulands Botans Canary

16th Dec 2011.  This cow is the dam of Beaulands Cadel, a bull featuring in the Genetics Australia 2012 Aussie Red Progeny Test Programme. "A really deep ribbed capacious cow exemplifying dairy strength" according to Dan Cochrane who took the photograph.
